As most of you have read, due to the economy the school district has undergone some budget cuts.  The Band Program was also affected by these budget cuts.  Mr. Findley now works for Florence, MS schools as Head Band Director and Ms. Keelin is now Assistant Band Director at Winona.  Although they will be missed, we wish them well.  We have also undergone another change.  Upon completing his administration degree Mr. Thompson made a very difficult decision to leave and further his career by accepting a position as an Assistant Principal at Corinth Schools.  We hope he finds this new job challenging and exciting.  We are very pleased to announce that our new Percussion Instructor is Brandon Lang.  He and his wife Lauren are very excited about this change.  Mr. Lang is from New Albany and has taught Percussion camp for three years.  He is anxious to get the year underway.  We know these changes will have a positive influence on our program as we gear up for a new year!!
